5 New Things at NFMT
Perhaps the most frequently asked question we hear is: "What's new at the show?" Check out five exciting new features you'll find at NFMT 2022
1. Roundtables
No need to sit through formal presentations at NFMT's Roundtables, just pull up a chair and ask your questions to like-minded facilities managers from around the country. These 45-minute, informal discussions focus on either a specific building type or trend, allowing you to network with your peers in a small group environment. Each roundtable has an official moderator to help guide the conversation.
2. Facility Maintenance & Facility Cleaning Pavilion
As we battled COVID-19, facilities managers needed to spend more time than ever reviewing cleaning protocols and products the last two years. Join us in the Facilities Maintenance and Facility Cleaning Pavilion to see products from featured suppliers who provide vital products and solutions.
3. Personal Protection Equipment Hub
During the last two years, the understanding and need for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) has skyrocketed. The overall goal of Personal Protection Equipment is to minimize exposure to hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses. PPE includes items such as gloves, safety glasses and shoes, earplugs, hard hats, respirators, or coveralls, vests and full body suits. Head to the expo hall to see visual displays of the latest Personal Protection Equipment available to help your team stay safe.
4. Safety Protocols
Facilities managers know that goal number one is to keep all occupants in the building safe — that is the goal of the Baltimore Convention Center as well. The team at BCC has been working with NFMT to make sure safety protocols are being met. The facilities team invites you to see first hand how they are keeping their building open and safe to the public.
5. Play Ball
For the first time in NFMT’s history — baseball will be played in Baltimore while we are in town. You’ll be able to feel the excitement as the Orioles take on the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday afternoon. Wrap up a wonderful week at NFMT by taking in Orioles opening day next door at Camden Yards.
