NFMT

Valued NFMT Partner,

We hope this message finds you healthy and safe.

As you know, National Facilities Management and Technology Conference and Expo — NFMT Baltimore 2020, originally scheduled for March of this year, was postponed to August of 2020 due to COVID-19. The Baltimore Convention Center informed us that due to the state's timeline for the State of Emergency and restriction on events, it was unable to host NFMT, forcing us to cancel the NFMT-Baltimore show in 2020.

At the time of the announcement, in July, we activated the "force majeure clause" (section 20 in your contract) and provided you with the option of a 38% refund or rolling your funds forward to the NFMT Baltimore show in March of 2021.

This past week, due to continuing concerns brought about by COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to cancel our October NFMT-Vegas show, originally scheduled for October 27-28.

With this announcement, we are now experiencing escalating concerns as to the likelihood of NFMT Baltimore taking place in March of 2021. The further escalation of COVID-19 and continued government restrictions on large face to face gatherings make these concerns very legitimate.

Coupled with this uncertain future, we have not yet received any written communication from your organization authorizing us to move your funds forward to NFMT 2021. As a result, we will activate the standard 38% refund on your spend for the NFMT Baltimore 2020 event. Your organization should receive the funds soon.

In the 20-year history of our very successful and popular NFMT shows, we have never faced the unprecedented challenges that COVID-19 has brought us in 2020 and that we continue to face as we move forward into 2021. Our goal, however, is to remain a strong partner to your company and an outstanding and unmatched source of connectivity for you within the Facilities community.

Please feel free to reach out to your NFMT sales consultant if you would like. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Until then, stay safe and healthy.

Kindest regards,
