In a normal week, all of us, exhibitors, attendees and show management, would be packing up and heading to Baltimore this weekend for the NFMT and Clean Buildings Expo.
To say the least, this has been anything but a normal week.
Faced with unprecedented challenges related to COVID-19, our team has been working hard to ensure that the rescheduled NFMT 2020 and the Clean Buildings Expo meets or exceeds your expectations. Here's a few of the steps we've taken since rescheduling our events on Wednesday morning.
- Wednesday afternoon an email notification was sent to all attendees and speakers
- Thursday morning a follow up notification was sent to all non-openers of the Wednesday email
- Thursday afternoon personal calls were made to thousands of registered guests.
- All presenters were contacted via phone. More than 80% indicated that they will be participating in the August event.
- Updates have been posted daily on the NFMT website
- Personal calls, texts and follow up emails have been sent to all exhibitors
- We are working with Freeman to determine how to handle warehouse freight. We will update all exhibitors as soon as we have information.
The bottom line to date: Thousands of facilities and cleaning professionals, most presenters and hundreds of exhibiting companies have confirmed their participation in the rescheduled NFMT and Clean Buildings Expo. We expect both shows to be valuable to both the facilities and cleaning professionals attending and the industry suppliers exhibiting.
