Dear %%FirstName%%
We have been in regular communication with you over the past few weeks regarding exhibiting at the NFMT and Clean Buildings Expo shows. We promised that we would notify you immediately if anything changed regarding hosting the shows next week.
The situation in Maryland has changed in the last 48 hours. The chancellor of the University System of Maryland has urged each university to prepare for students to remain off campus for at least two weeks after the end of spring break, which begins this Saturday and ends March 22. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan stated that he expects the situation in his state to get worse before it gets better. Yesterday, Hogan cancelled all travel for all state employees and advised all state agencies to prepare all employees for telework in order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
As a result, we believe it's in the best interests of our family of exhibitors to reschedule NFMT and Clean Buildings Expo. It is the prudent decision to make. We have rescheduled NFMT for August 11-13 and Clean Buildings Expo for August 11-12 at the Baltimore Convention Center.
Any payments that you have made to date will not be lost; they will be rolled over to the August event. Due to the numerous logistics in making this decision, there are operational unknowns at this time. We are in the process of resolving these items and will update you as new details emerge.
