NFMT 2019 Delivers on All Fronts

Milwaukee, WI (April 16, 2019) — More than 4,500 facilities professionals from 46 states and 14 countries descended onto the Baltimore Convention Center from March 26-28 for the 19th edition of the National Facilities Management and Technology Conference and Expo (NFMT).

NFMT 2019 combined high-quality FM education, numerous networking opportunities, and an expo hall featuring the leading suppliers displaying the latest products and services available.

Facilities professionals had more than 100 Free educational session to choose from. The sessions provided current information on everything from asset management to codes and regulations to O&M system management. Joan Stein, President of Stein Consulting LLC, presented the workshop ADA Workshop: Guidance on ADA Requirements for Facilities Managers. Stein remarked that "I was very excited because I had 175 facilities managers in my session. The fact that NFMT can pull off a show that is free for attendees is monumental."

Companies that exhibited at NFMT 2019 were equally enthused with the quality of serious buyers attending the show. Robert Bailey TITLE at Chesapeake Controls shred an interesting anecdote. "Two years ago, this guy stops by our booth and said 'I really like what you guys are showing here, can we talk more about it?' Ended up he worked for Boeing Corporation and two years later we got a $2 million contract. And that happened all here at this trade show."

The expo hall is a big reason why facilities executives come to NFMT every year. Margaret Evans, Associate Director with Cushman & Wakefield a 4-time attendee said that she returns to NFMT for the expo hall. "It's great that we can come here and learn about all the new technology that's coming out."

Ten-time attendee Ralph Magnatta, Principal of Brite Realty Services Inc. agreed. "The size of NFMT sets it apart. There are more vendors here with cutting-edge products. I can always find more products and usually bring my staff with me."

NFMT 2020 is scheduled for March 17 through 20 at the Baltimore Convention Center. It will be the 20th year for the event ranked #1 by facilities professionals.
