NFMT Commissions Survey of Facilities Professionals
August 10, 2017, National Facilities Management and Technology (NFMT) recently convened a commission of respected FM leaders to discuss how the role of facility professionals has drastically changed in recent years and identify future training needs in the industry. The commission, comprised of experts in both United States and global FM organizations, identified major shifts in training needs for the industry, and recommended an international survey to seek input from hands-on facility professionals and leaders on how to best address the needs of today and tomorrow.
NFMT will email The FM Market Training Needs Survey the week of August 14 to select leading facilities professionals throughout the United States. This detailed survey is expected to be in the field for 2 weeks. Tabulations will begin in late August with results expected to be released in early to mid-September.
"Findings from this survey will help NFMT define and deliver more relevant and impactful facility management education," remarked Wendy Dietzler, Vice President of Education and Conferencing. "It will ensure that we remain on point when it comes to educating the facilities professional, and recognizes the essential role FMs play. I encourage everyone who receives the survey to help shape the future of facility management by completing the survey as soon as possible."
