Evaluating Building Water Use Efficiency and Future Costs
|
You are invited to a water efficiency workshop on Tuesday, May 16 — the day before the High-Performance Buildings + Workplaces Conference and Expo officially opens. It's an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get detailed training on a topic crucial to today's high-performance facility.
This interactive workshop is based on water audits of a number of commercial and institutional facilities. Attendees will examine and discuss four topics key topics to increase their understanding and strategic use of water in a variety of facilities:
- Where and how much water is used by each operation within the facility by type
- Average reductions in water use based on the decades of water audit experience
- A look at current and future cost implications of water and sewer costs based on current inflation rates for both water and energy
- How these rising costs could impact one's return on investment by water conservation implementation
The workshop concludes with key insights into selecting a water audit team as part of a comprehensive facility energy and water use analysis.
