Critical Facilities Summit 2016 Announces Additions to Educational Agenda
|
August 11, 2016 — Milwaukee — The Critical Facilities Summit, the only event focused exclusively on the design, construction and management of mission critical facilities, announced today that several new educational sessions and a workshop have been added to the conference agenda.
David Quirk Explains ASHRAE 90.1 vs. 90.4
David Quirk, PE, LEED AP, CEM, Vice President and Principal from DLB Associates will explain which ASHRAE Standard 90.1 or 90.4 applies to data centers now. His session, ASHRAE 90.1 vs. 90.4: Which Standard Applies to Data Centers Now? will take place on Wednesday, October 5.
"ASHRAE's overlapping and conflicting standards have led to considerable confusion in the data center industry," observed Wendy Dietzler, Vice President of Education and Conferences for Trade Press Media Group, owner of the Summit. "David's timely presentation will help set the record straight and clear up the confusion and uncertainty. This is a can't miss session."
Quirk is a licensed PE and a LEED AP. He is a past Chapter President of ASHRAE, a voting member on NFPA-76 and NFPA-75, and a voting member and Chair of ASHRAE TC9.9. In his former role at Verizon Wireless Network, David was responsible for managing the design and construction of the organization's critical network facilities throughout the United States.
