These solutions have a patented coating designed to help reduce the risk of healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs) in hospitals and other medical environments. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate nearly two million hospital patients annually contract an HAI, at a cost of $36 million a year.
