Trade Show Temperature Check

Several members of the NFMT team headed to BOMA last month in Long Beach. We noticed several themes take form throughout the show floor and the corridor of the conference center.

With NFMT West (Las Vegas - Nov. 3 & 4) serving as the next in-person facilities event to add to your sales funnel, it's always wise to keep a keen eye on the temperature of the industry. Here's what we noticed as the main topics of discussion.

AI. AI. AI. AI.

AI was overwhelmingly the main topic of conversation and conferences amongst the FMs in Long Beach. You couldn't walk more than a few booths without noticing an AI product or service, or someone wanting to discuss how AI can improve your processes and people, not replace them.

Reimagining Empty Spaces

File this under a category that could be called many different things: Sustainability, adaptive reuse, and reimagining empty spaces. We even heard some facilities directors call it a turn toward urban farming! What it tells us is that facilities teams are ready to think about items not neccessarily tied to HVACs and lighting, etc. It's a changing facilities world that's looking to innovate.

If these are topics resonate, or you've never thought about expanding into these spaces, now is the time to tap into the industry buzz!

NFMT is on the cutting edge of change and we'll welcome hundreds of facilities professionals to NFMT West at the Horseshoe Events Center, Nov. 3 & 4. We don't compete with other events on our dates. You'll get unrivaled attention of budget controlling FMs. Contact me for more information about our upcoming trade show and how you can tap into the industry. Hope to see you in Vegas!
