Cooling towers are an effective and popular heat rejection technology used in almost all industries. The recirculating water within the cooling tower absorbs airborne particulates on a continuous basis, contributing to the formation of deposits (scale, fouling, and biofilms). Join us for a discussion about how these deposits lead to a reduction in heat transfer efficiencies and increased operating and maintenance costs, and what you can do to optimize and maintain.

Learning Objectives

  • A review of cooling tower/HVAC filtration technologies and common challenges
  • The importance of maintenance during low usage — managing your water treatment program
  • How to go about selecting and sizing a filtration solution that best meets your needs
  • Understanding your cooling tower water quality and how it can reduce OPEX while driving down water and energy waste
