TerraCycle Regulated Waste is your one-stop shop for recycling Universal Waste. Safely recycle fluorescent lamps, bulbs, batteries, e-waste, organic waste, and medical waste that are potentially harming the environment. The products and services we provide help you prepare for your year-end recycling needs and save money while maintaining compliance by facilitating these waste stream solutions.
The Bulb Eater®:
Our Bulb Eater crushes spent fluorescent lamps of any length into 100% recyclable material while capturing over 99.99% of the vapors released. The system, which is mounted onto a 55-gallon container, can hold up to 1,350 4-foot fluorescent lamps.
The drum container frees up valuable storage space that would normally be filled with boxes of spent whole lamps, reduces handling and related labor costs. Each Bulb Eater comes standard with a 5 stage filter system, a digital control with LCD display, self-diagnostic fault codes, and higher motor speed for increased lamp waste per drum. Bulk Pickup:
Did you know it's the law to recycle in specific time frames to maintain compliance with federal EPA guidelines and avoid fines? For example, Universal Waste has one (1) year to be recycled from its accumulation start date.
Our Bulk Pickup recycling services and transportation can help you stay OSHA and ACGIH compliant and is available throughout the continental United States! We want to help collect your facility's palletized and shrink-wrapped recycling for lamps, ballasts, batteries, and electronics. Learn how you can schedule a Bulk Pickup before the year's end, here.
EasyPak™:
An easy-to-use recycling solution for PPE (personal protective equipment) was recently launched through our line of EasyPak™ containers. Designed for businesses in need of a turnkey solution, these all-in-one solutions help facilitate on-site recycling for used gloves and masks, allowing staff to dispose of their protective gear responsibly.
There are two different types of EasyPak containers for disposable masks and disposable gloves. When full, the boxes can be conveniently sealed and returned to TerraCycle for processing so collected materials can be cleaned, melted, and remolded to make new products. Our EasyPaks containers are available for purchase through a reorder subscription program.
