Two New Sessions Announced for High-Performance Buildings and Workplaces Conference and Expo
April 15, 2016 — Milwaukee — The management team behind High-Performance Buildings and Workplaces (HPB+W) Conference and Expo announced two new conference sessions that were added to the event's agenda. Devoted to creating, maintaining and supporting smart, sustainable, people-focused facilities, HPB+W is May 3-4, 2016, at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX. It is free to attend.

The two additions to the agenda are High-Performance Buildings Today and Tomorrow and Austin Convention Center's LEED Gold Adventure.

"Both of these sessions enhance an already-solid lineup at High-Performance Buildings and Workplaces, and the subject matter experts who will present them are a major coup for the conference," says Wendy Dietzler, Vice President of Education & Conferencing, and High-Performance Buildings and Workplaces ambassador. "The cumulative expertise of these speakers gives attendees access to the latest thinking on sustainable, energy efficient, net-zero building operation."

Featuring a panel of four high-performance building experts, High-Performance Buildings Today and Tomorrow discusses the strategies and technologies that are shaping today's (and tomorrow's) approach to increasing a facility's efficiency, ROI, environmental benefits and user-friendly features. Attendees will gain current insights into what a high-performance building is, and learn the best practices that will help them get there.

Austin Convention Center's LEED Gold Adventure details the Austin Convention Center's four-year journey to achieving a LEED-EB Gold rating from the U.S. Green Buildings Council. It was the first convention center to receive this rating and only one of two nationally.

High-Performance Buildings and Workplaces provides two days of free in-depth education, developed to help attendees create the most efficient intelligent, people-friendly facilities in the most cost-effective way. HPB+W's agenda offers key insights into creating highly automated facilities, reducing energy consumption, increasing occupant comfort and applying data and smart analytics.

In addition to conferences sessions, HPB+W provides additional learning opportunities by way of a huge Exhibit Hall. Here attendees can interact with more than 100 exhibitors specializing in products and services devoted to developing, improving and maintaining sustainable, efficient and high-performing facilities.
