There is a flurry of activity around the CMS Emergency Preparedness guidelines when it comes to communication preparedness. We're only three months away from the November deadline and we all now know that an overhead paging system and a phone tree just won't cut it any more.

Luckily, we have Professor Bob McKee, from Boston University's Healthcare Emergency Management program to sort out the details.  He will give actionable information on:

  • Assessing your communication needs
  • Best practices for creating a response team
  • How to interact with responders outside the hospital including state, county, and local government
  • How to communicate with the greater hospital community
  • Convincing the hospital board on why they need to invest in a strong communication platform
  • The "how-tos" for resource planning such as making sure you have enough food, water, and medical supplies for an incident
We look forward to having you join us on Wednesday, August 16th at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT for this complimentary webinar.  Bring your questions, we always have a lively Q&A with Bob answering your questions to help you be prepared.
