Entries Still Being Accepted for Sixth Annual
FMD Achievement Awards

May 7, 2015 – Milwaukee – The sixth annual Facility Maintenance Decisions Achievement Awards program is still accepting entries, but the deadline is fast approaching. The awards shine a spotlight on the central role maintenance and engineering departments play in the successful and efficient operation of the nation's institutional and commercial facilities. Submissions should describe outstanding accomplishments in maintenance, engineering and grounds management.

Entries must be in one of four categories:

  • Renovations and Retrofits (HVAC system, plumbing system, roofing, grounds care etc.)
  • Sustainability (water savings, energy efficiency, green purchasing, recycling etc.)
  • Financial Management (budgeting, savings, capital planning etc.)
  • Personnel Management (training, staffing, recruiting, outsourcing etc.)

"The Achievement Awards are a great opportunity for maintenance and engineering departments to get the attention they so richly deserve from their organizations, as well as the public and peers," says Dave Lubach, Facility Maintenance Decisions associate editor. "The awards offer our readers an excellent opportunity to spread the good news about the accomplishments of their departments."

Visit www.FacilitiesNet.com/FMD/FMDAA and click on “Apply” to submit an entry and watch for award program information and updates. The contest is free to enter. The deadline for entries is May 26, 2015
